The hip-hop culture has changed tremendously in the past few years. the amount of sales of records have dropped drastically. The new age listeners has brought upon major numbers in the stream network. Streams are generated from the amount of listeners on streaming outlets such as Google Play and Spotify. The is the only way artist can receive royalties is through this system. Now its all about visuals and engagement with fans and supporters.
